Willard Hay homes for sale

Willard-Hay neighborhood is located in the northwest corner of Minneapolis.  It is named after two elementary schools in the area: Francis Willard and John Hay.  Willard was a famed American educator, reformer, and author and Hay was an American diplomat.  The neighborhood is sometimes referred to as Willard-Homewood by local residents, as the part south of Plymouth Avenue is Homewood. Willard-Hay boundaries are roughly Olson Highway to the south, Penn Avenue and Xerxes Avenue on the east, Broadway Avenue on the northeast, and Theodore Wirth Park on the west.  It is a mainly residential area, which includes one of Minneapolis' first planned developments, built during the early 1900's.  A large community garden on Oak Park Avenue North is very popular with the local residents.
